James Island County Park

Bring the entire family to enjoy the 600+ acre James Island County Park, beauty only South Carolina can provide. Find open meadows, saltwater fishing, miles of paved trails, picnic areas and spray/play fountain areas for the kids! Even the family dog will enjoy our off-leash areas.

If you are looking to make a weekend of it, the James Island County Park boasts 124 camp sites and 10 vacation cottages. While the beauty of the natural surroundings is the focus, each campsite is equipped with full hookups for campers and RV’s, laundry facilities, paved roads, gills and bath houses. The park’s store is fully equipped with propane, ice and firewood.

Looking to enjoy nature in complete comfort? James Island County Park is home to 10 beautiful cottages that overlook the Stono River Marsh. Each three-bedroom cottege sleeps up to eight people, comes fully furnished and is equipped with satellite television and telephone.

Rent a pedal boat, bicycle or kayak, hit the Splash Zone Waterpark in season, or make a run up the climbing wall. No matter what you do at James Island County Park, kids and adults alike are sure to have a great time!
